Lasik...A SUCCESS!

Well, the surgery was a success! My vision is very blurry still, but I can tell a BIG difference. The whole process was so quick. I got to the office, had to sign some papers, they took more measurements of my eyes, and then prepped me for the surgery.

I then went back to the waiting room until the laser room was free. Mom captured a pretty cute picture of me prepped and ready. haha!

I went back to the laser room at 2:48 and was finished and out in the waiting room at 3:08. Thanks to my record keeper momma! Dr. Pugh (with Dr. Black's Eye Associates) is who did my surgery. He is amazing! Just a little plug for him!

Here are the pictures of my eyes this evening. All in all, they look pretty good! I am using prescription and stereroid eye drops several times a day for the next couple of weeks. But that's really all I have to worry about.

I have to wear these really cool goggles to sleep in for the next 5 days. I'm thinking they need to be a permanant item in my wardrobe. haha!

Once again, I am soooo thankful that I was able to have this surgery. I am expecting to wake up in the morning, and the fog to be lifted. I go see my regular eye doctor in Corydon tomorrow to check on my eyes. Hopefully he says all looks well.

THANK YOU, MAMAW!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!

Lasik tomorrow!

I will be having LASIK eye surgery tomorrow afternoon! After my grandpa died in February my grandma told Jordan and I that she wanted to do this for us. What a gift!!! I have wore contacts since I was in the 7th grade, and have had infections in my eyes due to contact allergies for several years. My eye doctor has tried every brand of contacts and nothing seems to work for me. For the past couple of months I have been wearing daily contacts. This is pretty much my last resort before glasses all the time...yuck for someone who started out with contacts. Needless to say I am extremely excited about this surgery tomorrow, however it is elective and that makes me nervous. Just knowing that if something went wrong that it was optional. You know the big E they have you look at on the eye chart...wouldn't know it was an E if I hadn't seen it a million times. Pretty bad! I am so thankful for getting to have this surgery tomorrow. Thanks Mamaw! Let's hope and pray it is as "bread and butter" as the doctor says it will be!!!

Tonight's Episode

We (yes, Rodney too) love Jon and Kate Plus 8. I am not looking very forward to the episode tonight though. According to the previews they are announcing something major. I am assuming separation and possibly divorce. We have been watching the show since it started and I feel like I know them. I feel so sorry for all those kids as it seems they do not have clear minded parents right now. I am pretty sad about all their drama!

Father's Day Weekend

We have had a great weekend! Friday night my dad came to our house for supper. Mom was gone to her bookclub at Deb Thomas' house and Jordan was at the concert at 4th Street. That left my poor dad at home by himself all evening, so I was a good daughter and cooked for him. Saturday we were LAZY! Pajamas all day, nap in the afternoon, and everything. It was WONDERFUL! Saturday evening we went to Colt and Susan's for a little cookout. Thanks guys! Paisley was the only kiddo (more attention for her, she thought!), but she had a blast! She was running wild for a good 4 hours straight. Good time with good friends!

Paisley was determined she was going to play corn hole too! Thanks guys for taking a little break and letting her "play."
Happy Father's Day, Rodney!
Paisley loves his photo book. Baby...she keeps saying over and over! She does not realize SHE is the baby in those pictures. Scroll down a few posts to see the link to the photo book if you're interested, it's pretty cute if I do say so myself!

Ready for church.

My dad and his wonderful children! We had a very nice brunch at the Bristol in Jeffersonville with Mom, Dad, Jordan, Mamaw, Rodney, Paisley and myself. Love you Dad!

Adam and Ava were at church today. Paisley and Adam ran WILD after church. Paisley did pretty well keeping up with him. I had to try for a quick picture of Paisley and Ava...they both looked so cute today in their paisley print dresses. Wish they could play more together!

A few randoms

From the last week or so...

Paisley loves to eat rice, but hasn't quite mastered it yet with a spoon. So she insists on putting her ENTIRE fist in her mouth in order to get the maximum amount of rice in. Too cute!

Family movie night...a Sunday night Crosier tradition (we just started it a couple of weeks ago, but Paisley loves the blankets and pillows on the floor).

A trip to Derby

Last weekend...
Gary Fessel and his family have a camp at Derby in Perry County. This used to be a guys hangout as I very much remember from the many weekends Rodney spent there while we were dating (they still happen!). I have only been there one other time just for a couple of hours. Last weekend, the families were allowed...haha! Kevin and Michelle had Brody and Bryce there. Friends of Gary and Erika, Joey and Becky, had their 2 children, JT and Emily. Paisley was the youngest, but kept up with them pretty well. Here are some pictures of our Saturday.

We are currently on the search for one of these little cars. Paisley spent almost the entire day in it and out of it. It wouldn't have been near as much fun without the door!

Paisley and Bryce were enjoying a little break in the tent...juice break!

Brody pushed Paisley all around in the car. He is such a sweetheart!

Just a random picture of the group...Kevin, Michelle, Brody, Bryce, Joey, Becky, JT, Emily, Gary, Erika, Colt, Ernie, and us. It was a great time!

So cute! I believe this was after the water balloon WAR!

The Anniversary

So, three years from yesterday, Rodney and I were married. What a day it was! Life was so simple then. However I would not trade our life as it is right now for anything. I love our little family of three with a wild toddler drama queen. I look so forward to Paisley's changes in the next few months as she starts talking more.

I met Rodney at his work yesterday and we went to dinner. Then decided on a movie back in Corydon (Night at the Museum...real romantic huh?). It was a good movie. Headed to Nana and Pop's to pick up our Paisley girl. Thanks for watching her, mom and dad, and thanks for the gift card to Longhorn to pay for our meal, Danny and Stella! Looking forward to the years to come!!!

The finished project!

The fence is done! Except for staining. It looks great!

Apparently, Paisley is going to be a soccer player! She loves kicking a ball around the yard. She just chases it everywhere.

So cute riding the lawnmower. She really thought she was something sitting up there all by herself!

A very tired little girl after playing hard! Doesn't she look so big in this picture?!?

Our new outside play area

Yes, we got a play house! Toys R Us came through, but not without a lot of looking and decision making. We were not really thrilled with any of the little pictures of the houses/equipment they had to offer. They had nothing set up which makes it very difficult when you are looking for something that your child will actually like. Paisley could have cared less about the little picture of the play house. We finally made a decision on a small one, which is PERFECT for her, now that it is set up and in the yard. She could hardly contain herself as we were putting it together. Here are some pictures of Paisley enjoying her new house!

And a kiss from Daddy through the window! How cute!
Notice the phone in her hand. The house came with a little cordless phone, which she absolutely loves! She carries it around everywhere "talking" on it.

We also bought a water table. Paisley and I went on the hunt for this yesterday. We ended up getting it at Sam's. It is supposed to be a sand and water table, but I think we'll just stick with water for now. Of course, Daddy needed lots of help from his little girl while filling it up with water...haha!

Nana came for a while today to play with Paisley. She played in that house and with the water table for a good 2 1/2 hours! It was amazing...no chasing, just playing. Paisley was completely wore out as went to Corydon for lunch. In the picture above she was looking out her window at her Nana.

An outing!

Summer break has begun! Paisley and I have enjoyed the last 2 days at home just relaxing. However I am not a stay at home kind of person. I like to be going, not just hanging around the house. Today we are meeting Rodney for lunch, getting the windshield wipers repaired on the jeep (for some unknown reason the high switch has decided not to work), then a trip to ToysRUs to look at a playhouse for our newly fenced in backyard. I haven't gotten Paisley pretty excited about going to look for this. Everytime I say ToysRUs she gets the biggest smile, says yes over and over and heads for the door. It's pretty cute! Looking forward to a day out of the house. It's going to be a long summer if I can't even handle two days at home! Wish me luck...I know, I know, I should be thankful and I am!!!
Hopefully I'll be posting pictures of Paisley's new playhouse soon, and I've got some new ones of the fence too...I'll get them posted!
